EXTEND A PAW AND ADOPT A PET PROGRAM |

Many years ago Fred instituted the “Extend A Paw And Adopt A Pet” program. Both sides of the family have always been animal lovers and many family members have owned farms over the years. |
|
|
|
Fred realized that his interest in helping animals could be coupled with his Ford Lincoln Mercury advertising, thereby allowing something good for animals and the Central New York community in the process. |
|
|
|
The program is quite simple. First and foremost, we ask that you please find it in your heart and your home to adopt a homeless pet if your lifestyle permits. We at the dealership do not advocate any particular means of adoption. Should it be from an organized shelter, rescue, or from a neighbor experiencing a life change, the important issue is helping a pet in need to find a loving home. |

Success of the program has been beyond what Fred had hoped. Obviously we will never know the number of adoptions we have inspired. What we do know is this. We are complimented on the program constantly. The shelters in Central New York have commented that they can tell the level of advertising we run by the level of interest in adoptions, and people come into the dealership that have heard of the program and never even seen an advertisement or public service announcement! You may imagine how this makes us feel at the dealership. |

There has been an unexpected benefit of this program at the dealership. We have folks stopping in regularly to allow us the opportunity to meet their new family member and play for awhile! It has been great fun and we anticipate it will continue for years to come. |
|

|
